Tabrizi Boxing
Coach Jeff's Bio
Jeff Tabrizi is a Professional Boxer based in Burlington, Ontario. Jeff's childhood had a big influence on his path towards becoming a boxer. At the age of 4, Jeff suffered from his first seizure and shortly afterwards was diagnosed with a brain tumor. At the age of 6, the brain tumor was successfully removed by doctors at Sick Kids Hospital. This experience shaped Jeff into a fighter from the very start of his life.
Jeff's interest in boxing started at the age of 18, after he visited a local boxing gym. He instantly fell in love with the sport and quickly developed the skill set and discipline to take the step towards becoming an amateur boxer. Jeff had his first amateur fight in 2012 and won it by knockout in the first round. In 2015, Jeff pursued his passion and took the next step towards becoming a professional boxer. That same year he moved to Los Angeles, Calidornia and lived there for 3 years training and learning from some of the best coaches and fighters. Jeff had the privilege of working with some of the greats - Floyd Mayweather, Jessie Reid, Freddie Roach, Gennady Golovkin, Zab Judah, Andre Berto, James Tony, Roy Jones Jr, and Joe Goosen. Today, in addition to pursuing his professional career, Jeff also enjoys teaching boxing to kids and adults. He coaches his students with the same passion and focus that he uses to compete and is ready to work with anyone who’s eager to learn and work hard. |
